Across America
Cities are reinventing themselves through trail connections. Akron has taken the lead in Northeast Ohio with the bold decision to remove a highway system that bisected their community. The Cuyahoga River is the main draw for residents and tourists seeking enjoyment and peace through an experience that connects them to nature and local history. Railroad history is a major part of the historical appeal. Cleveland has a chance to develop a tourism node at the intersection of two historic roads and a trailhead for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
